Emily P. Kahn is a Partner at Walsh & Amicucci LLP, practicing exclusively in the areas of Estate and Tax Planning, Probate and Administration of Estates, Trust Administration and Modification, Fiduciary Representation and Accounting, Special Needs Planning and Guardianships. She frequently advises injured and disabled claimants and their families receiving benefits through New York State Retirement Systems and the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund.

Ms. Kahn serves on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Westchester County Bar Association and on the Executive Committee of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association. She serves as pro bono counsel to Legal Services of the Hudson Valley and to a variety of individuals in Surrogate’s Court proceedings as Guardian ad Litem. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Foundation, Inc. and lectures for bar associations, wealth management firms and municipal associations in the New York City area. Ms. Kahn is a past Chair of the New Lawyers Section and continues her work with the judiciary to organize continuing legal education courses, pro bono opportunities and social events for young professionals.

Ms. Kahn is a recipient of the 2018 Legal Services of the Hudson Valley Pro Bono Award for her mentorship in Trusts and Estates and the 2016 Westchester County Bar Association New Lawyers Leadership Award for leadership and service in the community. She was selected to the Super Lawyers New York Metro Rising Star list in 2019, 2020 and 2021 and named as a Rising Star in the 2021 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America published by Westchester Magazine.

Prior to being named Partner, Ms. Kahn worked at Walsh & Amicucci LLP as a Law Clerk for two years and as an Associate for eight years. She holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
