Samantha L. Kopf is an associate at Walsh & Amicucci LLP, concentrating her practice in estate and tax planning for individuals and families, the representation of fiduciaries, and the administration of estates and trusts.
Samantha graduated summa cum laude from Pace University School of Law in 2015, where she served as a Case Note and Comment Editor for Pace Law Review. During her studies, Samantha published two original research papers, externed in the chambers of the Honorable Kenneth M. Karas of the Southern District of New York, and was named to Dean’s List for all six law school semesters. She completed internships with General Electric Company’s State and Local Tax division and the state tax department of McDermott Will & Emery’s New York City office, in both instances researching and writing about complex legal issues in the area of state and local tax. Samantha also acted as a second and third year intern for the Judges and Lawyers Breast Cancer Alert. Prior to joining the firm, Samantha served as a judicial clerk for the judges of the state of Connecticut Superior Court. Samantha completed her undergraduate studies at Barnard College, where she earned a B.A. in economics, and worked in journalism and publishing before embarking on her legal career.
